10 days and so much hapened!!

feels like I left 4 months already, but Im happy to let you know that we havbe the 3 horses!! we are getting all the stuff now, waiting for the vet to stamps our papers ( horses got more vacins papers and passeprts than humans...) and hopefully will be gone before christmass!!!

in place of a christmass present to each other, we will have the right to start our trip... yeeepee!!

go and check on the photos to see our 3 wonderfull compagnions, Romeo, the big gold colred with black air, Solito, dark clever looking horse, and Alazana (  we still need to find a name) the mare that with cary the luggage.. because even if she is the lady of the band, she is the strongest....

Anyway, we are now in a hostel, about 100 meter from where are the horses so I can go everyday to say hy to romeo, make him eat, scratch his head and enjoy having my own horse for the first time!!!

it's very vomplicated to organize our trip, but everything is worth the pleasure of looking at my horses grazing for me....

have a very good christmass and a happy new year everyone!!!!

4.12.2012

hello everyone its time for me to give news....

we had a wonderfull 25hours trip in a bus, to reach our destination San Carlos de Bariloche.. a paradise for all seasonners, at the foot of the resort ¨cathedral¨... snowboarders, kite surfers, downhill biking, rock climbing.... what on earth Im trying to buy horses for?

really it a very nice seasoners place, and we are doing our best to convince Gauchos to sell us horses.. 2 chicas? the world is faaaar too dangerous for 2 girls on horses... its hard to get their confidence.. but we are getting there.. it will just take more time than expected.... luckily we are staying with super nice people and one of them used to be a horse guide so we try to make as many contacts as possible, and tomoro we are going to try our first horse, its not exactly the type we are looking for but it means for me i get to horse ride at least !!!

we learn a lot, our project in our head is changing avery day so I wont give many details yet as we are still working on it! but it will definitly involve having.. a dog! yes Im becoming a dog lover, believe it or not!!!

take care everyone, hope the next news will be more precise....

because I've got time now, let's give you a idea of what are talking about in french.

We are still in Buenos Aires, fixing the last details (but compulsory) before jumping into the bus to San Carlos de Bariloche, where she should find estancias to buy our horses.

We had a great week end in the Delta, up north of BA, where we were welcomed by the familly of our argentinian friend in France ( everyone follows?)

Now it's the great week of Map Hunting, a very rare species that doesn't not survive much when internet takes place.

We should be succesfull tomorow, but for now, apart from driving maps ( motorway on horse back...) or touristic maps ( lets visit and tie up our horses on the car parc..) as soon as we want to leave the beaten track, no one knows where to go!

I'm enjoying a lot speaking Spannish, even if some random words or construction of phrases come in english, german or even italian (don't know where from..)

and my friend Pauline is right back into her good school memories!

Both of us are having alot of fun, argentinian people are amazingly nice to us, sometimes surprised to hear our plan but always kind and helpfull!

We are getting impatient to move to Bariloche and really "start" our adventure, but administration and planning take time... Soon enought we will miss the hot showers and proper beds of the capital!
